Visa Requirements

  • Application Window: You can apply between 3 weeks to 6 months before your trip
Documents Required
  1. Passport: Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended stay
  2. Photographs: Two passport-sized photos
  3. Visa Application Form: Completed and signed
  4. Proof of Funds: Evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay and return travel
  5. Travel Insurance: Coverage of at least £30,000
  6. Cover Letter: From your company if you’re visiting for work-related purposes
  7. Invitation Letter: From the company in Germany you’re visiting, including address and dates of visit
  8. Employer’s Approval: Letter authorizing your trip and a power of attorney from your company
  9. Evidence of Previous Business Interactions: Between your company and the German company
  10. Company’s Bank Statements: The last three months of company bank statements
  11. Income Tax Returns: For the last three years
  12. Accommodation Proof: Proof of where you will stay
  13. Proof of Citizenship: Your citizenship or residency proof
Visa Processing Time
  • Processing Time: Typically takes 10 to 15 days, but can take longer during peak periods
  • Application Submission: Apply at the German Embassy or Consulate in your home country
